Photo Cinema (University project)

This project was originally going to be a remake of Reservior dogs, but with a female cast, renamed 'Reservior Bitches' but I couldn't find a suitable location in time, but I do still plan to do that. I think it's a good idea. So instead, I ran out of time and models and ended up doing something I know like the back of my hand. Zombie films.

The idea was to create a series of images that look like they were pulled from or used to promote a film. Like still shots or Screen shots. So, everything is set up, like a movie set. The lighting in most of these (Except the last two) are done with, if you'll believe a poor student like me... A wind up torch with a white tee-shirt over it. Who says you need professional, over priced lights, eh? And, the last two, were with a PC screen with a dark grey background. Just don't tell my teacher that :P

A Sunny day in Docklands, East London.

I thought I'd take advantage of what I suspect will be one of the few sunny days England will see. The fact that I got off of work early was a bonus. I also found a neat little location for a photoshoot. Not sure what I'll use it for yet though, maybe some fashion stuff.

Leaving DeviantArt?

Guys.... I might just have to leave deviant art. I really really don't want to, but I have literally fucking HAD it with the daft punk/deadmau5/skrillex bullshit. I can't stand it. They're my three favourite artists and deviantart and it retarded little fangirls are sucking the fucking life out of them. The Daft Punk ones were funny at first, but now the whole thing is way out of control.

The other option is to leave the groups, but tbh, I don't want to do that either, because by watching the groups I get to see some amazing fan art, which I love. I adore seeing other peoples hard work and watching their creativity, but I just can't do it now because of all the other shit going on. I just, erg, I'm really sick and tired of coming onto deviantart and seeing 'The Techno trio' (Now with added Skrillex).... It pisses me off for two reasons:
1. It's fucking sick
2. NO ONE INVOLVED EVEN MAKES TECHNO MUSIC!

There you fucking go you ignorant wankers. You can't have a 'techno' trio if the trio in question make fucking HOUSE MUSIC. You've just seen three good acts, decided they'd be fucking 'cute' together and slapped a bullshit name on it.

So, This may be another 'Tumblr' moment for me...
